In Albuquerque it's green chilies on everything, in Milwaukee it's a round piece of rye with raw hamburger and a slice of onion. In Utica, they just love their Italian food, they not only eat it at home, they eat it when they go out for dinner.  

For holidays, when serving a 20lb turkey with all the traditional sides, you also need to include a round of lasagna.  Going out to dinner was ordering something you  couldn't get at home, but here in Utica not only do they eat Italian at home, at least 3 nights a week, they dine out on Italian as well.

Which leads me to one thing I have simply never seen ...serving salad after dinner. So let me understand this, you have your entree, your salad and then cake.  I'm sorry it will just never make sense to me, but what the heck, the food is delicious no matter how you serve it!
