
Upstate NY Lakes Featured On Labatt Blue Cans
Upstate New York has a thing for Labatts and Labatts is returning the love with a series, called "Loving New York." The company plans to introduce a series of new cans for its Blue and Blue Light beers that feature illustrations of Upstate Waterfront scenes.
The cans will feature the Buffalo riverfront, showing an old grain silo with a Labatt logo, plus a pier on Seneca Lake, the Thousand Islands Bridge and a view of Lake George. the new packaging will be available this summer in all locations that sell 18-packs of Blue and Blue Light.
The links between Labatt and Upstate New York have always been strong. Labatt is the top-selling Canadian beer across the United States, Buffalo is its single biggest American market. Its also popular across Upstate and the Great Lakes region.
As part of this promotion, Labatt USA is making a $10,000 investment to support Riverkeeper's efforts. That's part of the company's larger investment of $100,000 in Waterkeepers, which supports clean water throughout the Great Lakes.
