If you missed out on Taste of Home Cooking School last year at the Stanley Theater in Utica, you missed out on a night of fun, food, and oh yeah, more food.

October 22, the 13th Annual Taste of Home Cooking School returns to its original home, the Turning Stone Resort Casino. This year, we are commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I personally think we should "Pink" out the entire auditorium. If you know someone who has survived, or is currently battling breast cancer, show your support by dressing all pretty in pink. Lennon's W.B. Wilcox Jeweler's has graciously provided a beautiful pink necklace and matching earrings for the event, and you could be walking out of the cooking school wearing them both.

Last year, I had the honor of emceeing the event with Eric Meier and I had a blast. I also had the privilege of filling gift bags for the event's attendees. That's right, as a ticket holder, you'll receive a bag full of free stuff, like samples, coupons, exclusive offers, and a Taste of Home Magazine subscription. I know some of the items that are going into this year's gift bags and I'm a little jealous that I can't have one. Grrr!

This year, Chef Amy will be guiding you along the path to becoming the queen or king of your kitchen. She's excited about coming to Central New York, and she's got 10 delicious culinary creations that she can't wait to prepare and pass along to you.

To purchase your tickets to the event visit the Turning Stone's box office, or CLICK HERE.  Both General admission passes and VIP tickets are available. The VIP package will entitle you to early entry, a meet and greet with Chef Amy, an autographed Taste of Home Cookbook, and a private catered party.
