The Rakhine community of Utica held a traditional Water Festival called Thingyan at Hanna Park. Many came out to enjoy the singing, dancing, food, and of course, the water.

With the weather warming up, taking a trip to Sylvan Beach is in the minds of many people. Not only can you find a sandy spot to relax for the day, but also there is some beautiful scenery around the beach. I recently took a drive to Sylvan Beach to take some pictures. In an effort to try and like winter a little bit more, I decided to find beauty in the season I dislike the most. And even though it is technically spring, it seems like winter will never end. I recently took a trip to a little place called Sharon Springs. Even though it was a very, very cold day, I still walked up and down Main Street.
