One of my favorite TV sitcoms, "Get Smart" debuted on NBC-TV on this day in 1965. With all the James Bond and other spy films of that era, "Get Smart" poked fun at the spy business, and it was so funny!

Even though I'm a "Treker", my all-time favorite TV show isn't "Star Trek", it's "Mission Impossible" which debuted on this day in 1966. And, the show wouldn't have happened at all without Lucille Ball!

If you remember game shows of the 70s, how could you forget "The Gong Show" on NBC-TV. It was a wild and crazy show, where the actual game came in second to the laughs. Today, Gong Show host and producer, Chuck Barris celebrates his 85th birthday. I'm not big on game shows, but I loved The Gong Show!

I love TV shows about psychics, ghosts and UFOs, so occasionally I tune in "Long Island Medium" on TLC with Theresa Caputo. Bleached teased hair, long fingernails and all, she is very entertaining and often incredibly right-on with her psychic readings. What are here powers all about?
