The New York State Parks Photo Contest is halfway through its 2022 contest, so that seems like a good time to share some of the best photos submitted so far.

Looking for something fun and intriguing to do on a weekend? New York State parks are an incredible place to find things to do, many times there are free things to do too.

New York beaches will be open for Memorial Day weekend.

For the first time, New York campers can book further than 9 months in advance. The entire 2021 camping season is already open.

I love an adventure.  I especially love an adventure that I can accomplish in a day or two.  Day trips are great for doing these adventures, and so are weekends.  There are some great things to see right here in our own state.  You just have to open your eyes to see them.
