Despite over a foot of snow falling around much of Upstate New York last weekend, the spring-like temperatures have proved too much for local ski resorts to continue.
Sad news to report for racing enthusiasts, there will be no massive snowmobiling race this weekend because the Boonville Snow Festival will not go on as hoped.
Mother Nature is playing a trick for Halloween. Accumulating snow is possible in central New York, especially in the higher elevations and some areas could see temperatures drop into the teens.
