Graham Nash recalls the shoot - and the mistake that couldn't be fixed.

Future icon of melody was frankly amazed he was paid at all to do what he already loved.

"His legacy will continue to live on through his legendary music," Crosby's wife said in a statement.

An informal jam at a party in July 1968 showed David Crosby, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills that their voices blended perfectly together.

Crosby Stills and Nash's 1969 song 'Helplessly Hoping' appears in Alex Garland's 2018 sci-fi film 'Annihilation.'

Graham Nash once said this was "by far, one of the most frustrating projects of my life."

It wasn't long before they were back to fighting again.
