There's is a sound so electrifying that it's like a jolt to every single one of your senses. Welcome to cicada season in New York!

If you've got a cicada infestation, you probably already have a way to deal with the dilemma sitting in your cupboard; Frank's RedHot. Sure, you can find chocolate-covered Cicadas all over the country. But nothing is more Buffalo than wing sauce. So if you're going to try something like Cicadas, it only makes sense to tackle it in true New York style.

The cicadas are coming. After 17 years of being underground, billions of Brood X cicadas will fill the air with their buzzing mating calls and they've already arrived in Central New York.

They may be noisy and somewhat of a nuisance to some, but the cicada phenomenon comes back this year for New York and other parts of the Northeast.
