Greg Kihn's 13th-annual annual Kihncert will feature Bret Michaels as a headliner. The one-day music festival, founded more than a decade ago by Kihn, has become a classic-rock tradition that has included artists like Kansas, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, Boston and the Who in the past.

Two years ago, Poison frontman Bret Michaels suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage, and he credits the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. for delivering him from death’s doorstep.
Since then, he’s donated a music room to the institute, and now he’s also helping celebrate the hospital’s 50th anniversary.
