James is a lifelong resident of St. Johnsville where he operates the Canary Dairy Farm. James and his family need your help Central New York.

James started having medical issues and started getting weak on his left side. On March 22nd, he went to his doctor where they did a MRI and found a large mass on his brain. They took him right to Albany Medical Center.  On March 28th, James had surgery to remove the tumor. The pathology report confirmed it to be a cancerous tumor called Gliblastoma. He is currently doing rehab to gain his strength and function back on his left side. James will be going to Rochester for further appointments and Bassett Medical Center for chemo and radiation. His family asks for your support by attending the benefit.

The benefit will be held on June 18th starting at 11:00am at the South Minden Fire Department located in Canajoharie. There will be entertainment, a BBQ pork dinner, Chinese auction, live auction and 50/50. Ticket prices are $10 for adults. Children 10 and under are free. If you can't make the benefit and would still like to donate you can make a check payable to James Canary benefit and it can be dropped off or mailed to the Fort Plain NBT (41 canal st Fort Plain, NY 13339).
