Griswold Truckster Taking a Vacation to the State Fairgrounds

National Lampoon fans can get their Christmas wish this holiday season, as long as that wish is to snap a picture with the car featured in the classic movie.

The Family Truckster from "National Lampoon's Vacation" will be at the Winterloo event at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse for two weekends this month. The bright green, wood-paneled 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire will be on display for pictures December 7, 8, 14 and 15 in the Expo Center, and the photo will make a great Christmas card if your family dresses as the Griswolds.

In addition to the Truckster, Winterloo features a number of holiday vendors and activities, including the "World's Largest Snowman Bounce House," crafting and ornament-making areas, lots of holiday treats, and more. Winterloo runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 12 to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission and parking are free. Find all details about the event here.
