Well, I thought I was doing myself some good by switching from regular soda to diet, boy was I ever wrong.  You head that it’s bad for you, so you try to limit yourself, right?

Research has recently indicated that 2 or more servings of regular or diet soda, could put you at risk of heart failure.

The study tracked soda consumption and risk of heart failure among more than 42,000 men over 12 years.  It found that those who consumed at least 2 servings per day, had a 23 per cent greater risk of heart failure.  If that’s not enough to get you to put down the can, I don’t know what is.

Maybe this would be a good indicator that it’s time to cut back.  I keep telling myself that the new year will be a non-soda year for this guy.  The regular sodas are just straight up full of sugar and the diet ones are full of sodium, so there ya go. Actually, lately, I’ve been drinking a lot of water with drops of flavor enhancers.  You can find them in the supermarkets, usually near where the Kool-Aid is located.  Like I said…when the new year gets here.
