Who Is The Top Dive Bar in CNY

Just like restaurants in CNY, bars are a dime a dozen and there's always one closeby to suit your current mood. Yelp keeps a running list of establishments ranked based on customer reviews and right now according to their Dive Bar list, Shifty's ranks #1 out of them ALL.

Shifty's may be categorized as a dive bar but when it comes to music, it is anything BUT. You'd think that most musicians would be happy playing bigger and swankier venues, but getting into Shifty's is a right of passage and bragging rights for most int he 315. Having played and patronized many bars in my nearly 20 years legal (and a couple not) it's no surprise to me that Shifty's is at the top of a very long list of dive bars in the area!
