State Senator and Governor Turn Boy’s ‘Lemons’ Into Lemonade
You may've heard about that young boy's sidewalk lemonade stand in Saratoga that was shut down by nearby jealous Fair vendors who complained that the kid was dipping into their profits. While you're shaking your head, keep in mind that some good news has since arisen: our State's top brass are backing the boy up despite their own written law about temporary food permits.
The Department of Health has since apologized to the boy for how bad this makes them look, but is still sticking to their guns about the permit. So, a state Senator and our Governor have both come out and backed the boy agreeing to pay all fees associated with his permit and even to recoup his lost profits!
