"Utica On Tap" coming March 22nd to the Stanley Theater offers a great opportunity for beer lovers to discover new brews. One of the breweries offering samples at the craft beer event is Middle Ages Brewing Company of Syracuse.

You may have had a Middle Ages brew at a SU Basketball game, or perhaps you've bought some of their brews in bottles in a local store. Here's what Middle Ages Brewing Company is bringing to sample at Utica On Tap. According to middleagesbrewing.com:

"A Sparkling golden ale with a complexity of malt and hop flavor brewed in a similar style to a turn of the century Canadian ale.

"An IPA with a lower than average acohol but with intense pine and citrus hop flavor, rounded up with a dry finish. It was first brewed to celebrate our17th Anniversary.

Style: India Pale Ale

ABV: 4.80%

Containers: Draft, Growler"

And here's a bit about the brewery, according to middleagesbrewing.com:

"January 2, 1994

Foundation of Middle Ages

Middle Ages got its start when Marc and Mary Rubenstein decided that Syracuse needed a local brewery. They picked a location that actually has a bit of history, the old Sealtest icecream factory.

Middle Ages Brewing Company is the only full production brewery in Syracuse and has been owned and operated locally for 18 years. We are inspired by the British Brewing tradition and all of our ales are handcrafted using only the finest ingredients including malt imported directly from England. Our beer is distributed regionally but is most often consumed in Syracuse and throughout upstate New York."
