These three central New York girls are using their time away from school to spread positivity in their community.

Bree Mazur, Shea Larkin and Grace Matt are freshmen at Rome Free Academy. They have spent a lot of time recently making bright, fun cards for the elderly at a local nursing home. Their cards feature flowers, positive thoughts, and even a few puns. One card reads, "The spirit of Easter is all about hope, love and joyful living."

Bree and Shea's aunt, Mary, shared the photos to Facebook, saying she's proud of them for having huge hearts. She said everything will be disinfected and placed in a bag before making its way to the nursing home.
