No Fire Or Explosion at FX Matt Brewery

It appears a concerned citizen mistook noise and steam coming from the FX Matt Brewery for an explosion and fire on Tuesday morning. That individual called 9-1-1  reporting they'd heard an explosion and saw smoke coming from the FX Matt Brewery.

However, WIBX has received word from a brewery employee that all are safe and sound and there was in fact no fire at the brewery.

Scanner reports shortly before 7:30 this morning (Tuesday) indicated that a caller heard 'an explosion' and saw smoke and flames coming from the building. Fire officials were being dispatched as WIBX was sending reporters to the scene.

A brewery employee says there may have been some additional steam being released from the brewery today, which likely prompted that call to 9-1-1. The employee says the call did not from within the brewery and there was no fire.
