There are so many movies about Christmas holidays, but not quite as many centered on Thanksgiving. One of my favorite Thanksgiving-themed films is the 1996 comedy, "Planes, Trains And Automobiles".

They share a three-day odyssey of misadventures trying to get Neal home to Chicago from New York City in time for Thanksgiving dinner with his family."
