Autism affects one out of every 68 children in the United States. Autism Awareness Month is celebrated throughout April, and the Kelberman Center will host its annual Walk for Autism.

The Walk for Autism is the initiative of a group of parents heightening autism awareness in local communities and raising needed funds that will remain in Central New York.

The Kelberman Center will host its annual Walk for Autism:

April 9 in Boonville (V.F.W.) and Mohawk Valley (SUNY Polytechnic Institute)

April 16 in Oneida (Oneida High School) and Cooperstown (Glimmerglass State Park)

April 30 at Hamilton College (Taylor Science Center).

The Boonville and Cooperstown events will feature both a Walk and Run. All walks and the Cooperstown Run begin at 10:30 am with registration beginning at 9:00 am. The Boonville Run begins at 10:00 am.

Sites will feature music, refreshments, activities, prizes, and the opportunity to socialize with those united by this common cause.
