Rain Has Letchworth Park Waterfalls Raging Again

If you haven't been to Letchworth State Park to see the falls since Summer you'll be shocked at the difference. Drought conditions left the Middle Falls with just a trickle in July. The recent rain has the Genesee River raging.

Letchworth State Park, known as the Grand Canyon of the East, has 3 waterfalls surrounded by beautiful scenery. Enjoy snow tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling during the Winter season. Letchworth was also voted one of the best state parks in the United States and if you've been, it's easy to see why.
