The J.M. Smucker Company of Orrvile, Ohio, is recalling two varieties of it's popular Milo's Kitchen dog treats due to elevated levels of beef thyroid hormone.

The recall was issued after receiving several complaints of illness following consumption of the treats. This is a case of stop feeding this treat to your dog as the more the animal eats the worse the symptoms get.

Once the treats are discontinued and the thyroid levels return to normal in the body, the symptoms should subside. If symptoms do not subside contact your vet immediately.
