Have you heard the news?  No one could be more excited than the Chipster.  Charlie Brown and the gang making their way to the big screen  in 2015, just in time for “Peanuts” 65th anniversary of making their appearance in the funny papers.  And they haven’t aged a bit.  Iconix Brand Group, which is behind the upcoming Peanuts movie, announced that the film will hit theaters Nov. 25, 2015 and will be based on a screenplay written and produced by Schulz's son Craig.  Director Steve Martino (Ice Age: Continental Drift) will direct and Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios will share distribution, production and animation duties on the film. As it happens, 2015 also marks the 50th anniversary of the airing of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on CBS.  As someone who has loved everything to do with “Peanuts” since I was a kid, I’m really looking forward to this movie, despite some critics already bashing its creativity.
