Rochester Couple Gets Engaged at Paul McCartney Albany Show

A Rochester couple is finally getting married thanks to Paul McCartney and two cardboard signs. John Dann and Claudia Rodgers attended McCartney's show in Albany with signs in hand. John's read: 'I have the ring and I'm 64.' While Claudia had her own message: 'He won't marry me 'til he meets you.'

The signs caught McCartney's attention, who immediately invited the couple on stage and asked, 'Are you really going to do this, John?' He admitted, 'I've come too far to turn back now!

John launched into a rendition of the Beatles song When I'm Sixty-Four, as McCartney and his band backed him. He then dropped to one knee and popped the question. Luckily, she said yes in front of the thousands of fans.

The couple have been dating for eight years and originally met on a dating site on the Internet. Good thing McCartney finally returned to the stage or these two may have been waiting to walk down the aisle for awhile.
