New York State Fair Offering Free Fishing And Hunting Day
Are you a fisherman or hunter? You'll love this great deal on August 27th at the Great New York State Fair.
On Sunday August 27th show your hunting or fishing license and you will get free admission to the fair. That's only part of the fun planned on August 27th according to New York Upstate.
Think that's all the fair has up its sleeve on the 27th? Nope, also that day there will be a fishing tournament featuring competitive bass fishermen from the New York B.A.S.S. Nation will be held on Onondaga Lake at 7AM with an 11AM weigh-in of biggest fish caught on the fairgrounds.
The kids haven't been left out of the fun. Kids can try their hands at catching sunfish stocked in the 2-acre pond at the N.Y. Experience on the Southwest corner of the fairgrounds.
Anyone that renews their fishing or hunting licenses at the fair in the DEC building will be entered in a raffle for lifetime passes to the fair. You can't go wrong with that deal!
