New Knockerball Tournaments in CNY

Knockerball tournaments are starting soon so get yourself on a team!

The American Cancer Society and Knockerball CNY are hosting knockerball tournaments at many Relay For Life events in CNY. You do not need to be a Relay For Life team member to take part in a competition. To get on a team or for more information email KnockerballCNY@gmail.com or call 315.360.3000.

The $25 per person entry fee covers three, 5-minute rounds, equipment, supplies and a donation to the American Cancer Society. Groups of three or four will compete in special tournaments at Relay For Life events on June 1st in Rome; June 8th in Utica and Boonville; and June 15th in Little Falls.

“We are excited to team up with Knockerball CNY to host this event because we wanted to bring something new and fun to the Relay For Life events,” explains Robert Elinskas, Sr Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society, “You do not have to be a Relay For Life participant to take part in the knockerball tournament.”

The Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest fundraising event to fight every cancer in every community, with 3.7 million participants in 4,500 events worldwide. Events will take place locally on June 1st in Rome; June 8th in Utica and Boonville; and June 15th in Little Falls.
