New Hartford Planet Fitness Is Moving

Planet Fitness, currently in the New Hartford Shopping Center, is moving into the old Toys "R" Us building.

As you can see work is underway in the Price Chopper Plaza on Commercial Drive. The Toys R Us sign is down and work continues on the inside. WKTV reports that Planet Fitness is renting two-thirds of the building, but there's no word on what's going into the other portion.

New Hartford codes told WKTV that the permit for construction was approved, but there is no set date for completion.
