When you think Chicken Wings you probably think Cianfrocco's in Rome, or any other great pizzeria in your area. The last place you'd consider is probably McDonald's right? Well it looks like they are getting into the chicken wing business. McDonald's has been testing "Mighty Wings" in Atlanta, and it looks like they may be rolling out to a store near you.

Could McDonald’s decision to extend its testing of Mighty Wings in the Chicago this week signal an eventual national rollout for the wings? God we hope so! According to a research from securities analyst Lynne Collier of Sterne Agee it may happen sooner than we think.

“Given that we believe that the Atlanta test proved successful,” Collier wrote, “we believe that it is likely that we will continue to see additional McDonald’s markets featuring wings and would not rule out a national launch in the future.”

McDonald’s revealed that the wings would be sold in orders of three, five and ten pieces. A starting price right around $3 probably makes them the most affordable on the market. Sure, they already have the McChicken, McNuggets and even Chicken McBites, but nothing will top the taste of boneless wings. I'm getting my bib ready for “Mighty Wings”.
