So if you were thinking the Zombie apocalypse would never hit Utica, you may be wrong. If the zombie apocalypse is born from bath salts watch out. Authorities say a Marcy man tried to attack his neighbor and tried to steal her car while he was high on salts.

WIBX is reporting that Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is saying 45-year-old David ran at the woman and jumped in her car as she was leaving for work on Monday morning.

When the startled victim scurried into the house, deputies say Shrader grabbed a broom and tried to break down her door. Then, a deputy on patrol in the area says Schrader ran into the road in front of his vehicle covered in blood. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a few lacerations that police say was self-inflicted.”

So Schrader was booked on felony burglary and attempted grand larceny charges. He’s being held in the county jail on $25,000 bail.

Do you think bath salts will play a role in zombie action?
