Honey Boo Boo was probably one of the biggest names of 2012. She was named “Most Interesting Person Of The Year” and her show on TLC turned her family famous, but they're not rich. That's at least according to Mama June, Honey Boo Boo's Mom.

June tells TMZ ... the lion's share of earnings from "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" (a cool $15k - $20k per episode) is being equally divided into funds for all 5 girls ... Alana "HBB" Thomson (7), Lauryn (12), Jessica (15) and Anna (18) and baby Kaitlyn. June says the little stars can't touch the cash until they turn 21 -- except in case of medical emergencies or using it for school.”

If you're thinking that Mama is full of bull and handles all the money, that claim is false. TLC puts the money into the girls' trust accounts, and then Mama gets an email telling how much everyone gets.

So how does this famous family pay their bills? Husband Sugarbear makes the family's money as a full time contractor. The family's only major purchase since becoming famous is a 2005 Ford Expedition. You may hate the family, but its glad to see Hollywood Land hasn't changed them very much.

Celebrity Of The Day

Let's honor Honey Boo Boo!
