This is the first movie she's written together with Keith Giglio, her husband of 29 years, since moving from Los Angeles to Syracuse six and a half years ago. So what is this Christmas movie about? It's all about a hard-working bakery owner Kate Holiday (Melissa Joan Hart), who has more cookie orders than she has time to fill. Her boyfriend suddenly breaks up with her, and puts a huge damper on the holiday season. So why is it nutty?
After Kate hangs the last ornament on the tree and goes to bed, she awakens the next morning to a little bit of Christmas magic. She gets the surprise of her life when Chip (Barry Watson), a handsome soldier who may or may not be the Nutcracker Prince from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, appears in her living room. "
Again, you can catch this November 30th on Lifetime. Juliet and Keith Giglio are screenwriting professors at SUNY Oswego and the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, respectively.
