The highly anticipated Lego store is opening at Destiny USA Sept. 2 with the official grand opening scheduled for Oct. 12 and 13. The store, located on the second floor of the Macy's wing, will offer an “immersive” Lego experience with a variety of products, hands-on building and play according to Syracuse.com.

The Syracuse location will be the third Lego store in Upstate NY and will feature an interactive play area, “pick and build wall,” build your own Lego mini-figure, options to buy in bulk, and the latest lego playsets on display. Syracuse.com reports the new Legoland New York resort is currently under construction in Goshen in Orange County, north of New York City.
