A new brewery will be opening soon in New York's Catskill Mountains - and it has a pretty famous owner. Actor Kelsey Grammer from the 80's and 90's television shows "Cheers" and "Frasier" plans to open Faith American Brewery. The brewery will be located on a former dairy farm in Margaretville, which is in Delaware County in the northern part of the Catskills.

Grammer made an appearance on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" Tuesday morning where he revealed the name of the beer, Faith American Ale.

According to New York Upstate, Faith American Brewery is named after Grammer's 5 year-old daughter, Faith - and will be located on property which he bought over 2 decades ago.

Back in October, 2016, Kelsey Grammer stopped by FX Matt Brewery Company where he posed for a picture with several staff members.

When it opens - Faith American Brewery will be added to the list of several other great breweries across Upstate New York.
