Vice President Joe Biden will make his acting debut on NBC's Parks and Recreation. It's been a great week to be Uncle Joe!

The VP will play himself in the November 15th episode.

The Amy Poehler series traveled to Washington, D.C., to film a “scenelet” with Biden back in July. And it’s not a completely random guest-star shot but one that the series has been working toward, with recurring references to Biden as the dream man of Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope. “Our first joke way back had Leslie telling her friend Ann that her ideal man would have the brain of George Clooney and the body of Joe Biden,” Park and Recreation executive producer Michael Schur told The New York Times, which first reported the story. “For whatever reason, she has an irresistible attraction to the vice president in a movie-star kind of way.”

Amy says, "He was a good sport and a great improviser. The vice president maintained his composure while I harassed him and invaded his personal space."

Will you tune in?
