The new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in Cicero Is putting a unique twist on the 'First 100' event.

Chick-fil-A is known for giving the first 100 people through the door at a new location free meals for a year, but Jimmer Szatkowski, owner/operator of the new Cicero Chick-Fil-A, is requiring more from his future customers.

Szatkowski is planning several community-service projects on February 21 and those trying to win a free chicken sandwich meal for a year need to be one of the first 100 to register and complete a day of community service.

Syracuse.com says the details are still in the works but as a company, Chick-fil-A stresses making a positive impact on the community and that's what they're looking to do.
