You may have heard HGTV is coming to the "Lakefront Bargain Hunt" with a focus on the Finger Lakes of New York. The picture above is Lindsey, Chris and the HGTV production crew on the Buffalo shoot.

A family of four from Maryland will appear on an episode titled Settling in on Seneca Lake, New York.  This episode will air on Sunday, May 14th at 8pm. Buyers Pam and Rick Siehler "fell in love" with the Seneca Lake Wineries, waterfalls and "picturesque farmland" after years of visiting Pam's family in Central New York, according to Syracuse.com. Realtor Mary St.George will help them find a lakeside vacation home for under $250,000.

My wife and I watch both House Hunters and Lakefront bargain Hunt on HGTV and try to figure out where does all this money come from? Maybe if we rob a couple banks we can make a down payment.

It's nice to see HGTV come back to our state as this is not the first time House Hunters have made the trip. Two years ago Frankfort native and our niece, Lindsey Zaffarano and her husband Chris were chosen to take part in an episode of House Hunters in Buffalo. It was the first time for the HGTV show to come to New York. We must have made a good impression on the HGTV folks as they are coming back.

It was very interesting watching them produce the show and then watch the finished product on the HGTV cable channel.
