If you've ever wanted to get up close and personal with a giraffe, here's your chance. The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango is now offering encounters with two of their giraffes.

The Wild Animal Park has been really innovative during the COVID pandemic, offering a drive-thru safari this summer - allowing park-goers to see the animals outside of typical enclosures. Now, they're expanding the animals available to meet during private encounters.

Jase and Jasmine are the park's giraffes, and you can spend a half hour getting to meet them up close, feeding and even petting them.

Each encounter is 30 minutes long. While you may be able to pet or feed the giraffes, the park stresses the encounters are on the animals terms.

If you're ready to book your visit - and they'll book quickly - you can visit the reservation page HERE or go to thewildanimalpark.com.

There's a maximum of 6 people per encounter, and visitor must be over the age of 6 with children accompanied by an adult. Encounters range from $150-$300 depending on the number of people. Sloth encounters are available as well, ranging from $150-$300.

Don't forget about hippo encounters either. Those are also available.
