As upstate New York farmers continue to watch their livelihood go down the drain as milk dumping continues, Governow Cuomo is looking into how to buy the milk for food banks in the state.

The Department of Agriculture is also looking into upstate New York farmers dumping milk and how to help, Governor Cuomo said during his daily briefing Sunday. "We're talking about food banks in New York City and then we're talking about dumping milk in upstate New York. I don't get it. If there's a way the state can purchase as part of these food bank programs, we will do that."

Part of the problem is, New York city schools bought a lot of the product from upstate New York. The purchasing is down with schools closed. "Any way we can fix that, we will."
