Gander Mountain In New Hartford Will Close

The large sporting goods store at The Orchard in New Hartford will be closing.  Gander Mountain made that announcement on Friday after they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

According to bizjournals.com, a total of 32 Gander Mountain stores will close.  Of the company's seven locations in New York State, the New Hartford store is the only one being closed at this time.

No exact date was given by the company for The Orchard store closing, but it is expected to happen within the next several weeks.
