Freezing Rain Possible This Morning
The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement about freezing rain this morning. Slippery conditions are most likely south of the Thruway.
A MIX OF VERY LIGHT SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING FROM THE SYRACUSE UTICA AND ROME AREAS SOUTHWARD TO THE WESTERN CATSKILLS UNTIL AROUND 9 AM.
The freezing rain is expected to be a small amount, not enough to bring down trees and power poles, but dangerous enough to cause loss of control while driving.
