Flooded Roads and Trees Down in CNY

Oswego has some flooding and trees are down as you can see from our photo gallery taken by Joe Falcetti. Lake Ontario has a Gale Warning in effect through late tonight means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or occurring. It is highly recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe Harbor.

Thousands are without power in Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties. National Grid told WRGB it could be tomorrow at 6 am before power gets restored in most spots and 6 pm for Rensselaer. Schools are closed, trees are down, and roads are closed.

Locally we're expecting about 4 inches of rain before it's all said and done. A High Wind Warning is in effect for Northern Oneida, Onondaga, Madison, Southern Oneida, Otsego counties including the cities of Boonville, Syracuse, Hamilton, Oneida,
Rome, Utica, and Oneonta until 4 pm this afternoon due to high winds gusting up to 60 mph. There's also a Flood Warning for the Mohawk River At Little Falls until Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
