The Flash Flood Watch continues for central New York with more rain in the forecast.

The Flash Flood Watch has been extended until 8pm tonight, Friday July 14th for a portion of central New York, including Madison, Oneida and Onondaga counties.

Another round of thunderstorms will move across central New York today, mainly during the afternoon. Heavy downpours will increase the risk for flash flooding, especially for areas that have already received significant rainfall in recent days.

Heavy rain brought massive flooding to central New York July 2nd. Roads were washed out. Creeks overflowed and homes were lost. Sinkholes left Route 233 at 12 B closed indefinitely.
