When we get hit with snow in central New York, we can snow blow it, shovel it, shake our fist at it or maybe have some fun in it. Here's a winter activity that might help you see winter in a positive light...cross-country skiing.

Unlike downhill skiing, you don't have to travel to a ski resort but can cross-country ski in places closer to home. And, it doesn't take all that much equipment to get started. Here's an introduction to cross-country skiing video:
