'Friendship, Love, and Cookies' that's the Cookie Ladies motto. 'The Cookie Lady' is Maryann Mazzaferro in Rome. She makes 34 different kinds of soft and chewy cookies.

Maryann stopped at the studios with some of her famous cookies and told us her story. She explained how she retired as the school librarian and then about 5 years ago decided to start a cookie business out of her kitchen. She won a contest with GE (out of more than 2000 applicants) and was on national TV. She's having a blast with her husband, who, as you can tell, is her biggest fan.

Maryann takes orders for her cookies by the dozen, bakes them in her kitchen with love and friendship, and then delivers them to your location. She just announced that her famous chocolate chip cookies can now be shipped anywhere in the U.S! Perfect for gift giving or for those who have moved away from Rome.

Here it is! Maryann's famous chocolate chip cookie! Crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. There's a hint of salt to balance the chocolate chips dispersed on the inside. Simply delicious.
