Just in time for Christmas and not too long of a drive down the Thruway, the new LEGO Store just opened less than a week ago at Crossgates Mall in Albany. This is big news as before this, the closest Lego attraction in the state was the LEGO Discovery Center in Yonkers and also consideing that the Goshen Legoland theme park is still two years away from opening.

Besides simply shopping for Lego sets, there will be a play area for kids to try sets before they buy them (wish that was around when WE were kids) and something called the Pick-and-Build Wall which is essentially like a candy store where kids pick any quantity of the style and color of bricks that they want to use to build their own creations at home.
