Sometimes while out on a date, things may seem to be going nicely and quickly turn into uncomfortable for you. This uncomfortable feeling may be because you feel extremely safe and feel you have no way out. The Celtic Harp has your back.

If you're in a situation you don't know how to get out of at the Celtic Harp in Utica, order an "angel shot" from the bartender. There's also three ways to order:

1) If a patron orders the shot neat, someone will escort them to their vehicle.

2) If a patron orders with ice, the bartender will call a cab.

3) If a patron orders with lime, the bartender will call the police.

According to the Utica OD, the idea for the "shot" came from London, where bar owners and bartenders encouraged their patrons to order an "Angela" if they felt they were in an unsafe situation.

"We just want people to feel safe," said Celtic Harp owner Tommy Powers. "No matter what code you use, we'll help you in any way we can to resolve the issue."

According to the report. the angel shot never has been ordered at the Harp. However, it is always available if you need help. Don't ever be afraid to ask for help.
