From time to time, we like to look back at recording artists who made it big, but may have gotten out of the limelight. How about Carly Simon? What a great voice. When I first heard her debut hit, "That's The Way I Always Heard It Should Be", I recall how that song painted such a vivid picture, especially when sung by her haunting voice. So, what is Carly Simon up to these days?

According to carlysimon.com:

Her last original album entitled: "Never Been Gone" was released in 2009. Here's a description of that album from carlysimon.com: "Carly revisits some of her best known and commercially successful songs, treating them to fresh (largely acoustic) new arrangements."

And Carly Simon joined another superstar on stage on, July 27, 2013.

"As a surprise special guest, Carly Simon joined Taylor Swift on stage tonight to sing You're So Vain together. It was the second night of Swift's sold-out Red Tour at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. For Simon, who only occasionally appears live in concert, performing before a crowd of 55,000 was a momentous occasion."

Let's watch the video of that performance:

And last time we checked, you might catch a glimpse of her on Martha's Vineyard.
