Backflip With Chip, Aug 21 1959, Hawaii Becomes 50th State

On this date back in 1959, we welcomed Hawii to the nation.  I think part of the decision was based on the fact that President Eisenhower wasn't fond of the odd number of states.  No, not really, but he did submit the order to add the 50th star to our flag.  Your Classic Rewards Club keyword for today:  Hawaii.  Good luck and thanks for listening!
