Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are calling it splits. The couple were married in August 2003, and reps are saying they are calling it quits. In happier times the couple seemed like they were so in love. Back in 2005, the 40-year-old Poehler told People, "He makes me feel very safe. You can have a lot of adventures if you have someone by your side."

A California court has yanked Amanda Bynes driver's license. TMZ is reporting that the DMV has pulled the actress off the road after she got into two hit-and-run smash-ups over four months earlier this year. There's no word as to how long she'll be hoofing it, or what she'll have to do to get her privileges restored.

Tom Brokaw Rushed To The Hospital

Tom Brokaw was rushed to a hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday after suffering shortness of breath during a TV appearance on MSNBC. Brokaw, who's covering the Democratic National Convention for NBC, left the set of Morning Joe "out of an abundance of caution," and is said to be in good spirits while being evaluated. He Tweeted from the hospital, saying, “All is well. Early a.m. I mistakenly took a half dose of Ambien and made less sense than usual. Made a better comeback than Giants.”

Fad Diet Blamed for Eddie Van Halen’s Medical Woes

Eddie Van Halen believes alternative medicine cured his cancer but if a new report is accurate, it also basically blew up his intestines. According to the National Enquirer, the Van Halen guitarist’s recently reported emergency surgery was complicated because of some painful-sounding (and rather frightening) side effects he suffered after embarking on the Master Cleanse diet. The diet “temporarily replaces food with a liquid consisting of water, fresh lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper”
