Burgers are a backyard BBQ staple and go to for busy families. The official description of a burger as per National Day Calendar is "Seasoned ground beef, grilled and placed between two slices of bread or a bun. Top with sauteed onions, peppers, pickles, sliced onions, or cheese. Add condiments such as ketchup, mustard or mayo. Any one of these combinations would create a modern American version a hamburger."

Today burgers don't even need to be made from beef, you'll easily find vegetarian options, bison, ostrich, deer, chicken, turkey, veggies, tofu and bean patties.

Celebrate National Hamburger Day by trying some new toppings:

            • Mac & Cheese
            • Avocado
            • Peanut Butter
            • Sunny Side-Up Egg
            • French Fries

The largest hamburger ever created was over 8,000 pounds and was cooked for a burger festival in Wisconsin. Any idea who serves the biggest burger in CNY?
